Bachelor of Economics Council or BECS Council is one of the councils under the Economics and Management Sciences Society (EMSS). This club was brought into existence for the purpose of updating the activities or the programmes organize by the BECS Council. In addition to that, it is also can be used as a platform of communication between the students, academic staffs and the alumni of department of Economics, IIUM.
The vision of BECS Council is to create a knowledgeable and caring community that embodies the teaching of Islam. Our mission is to ensure students’ welfare is taken care of, promoting knowledge as the core to success through programmes conducted and also embodying the teaching of Islam through our actions and mannerisms.
There are five bureaus under the BECS Council. We have Education and Training Bureau, Information and Public Relation Bureau, Da’wah and Welfare Bureau, Sports and Recreation Bureau and last but not least Entrepreneurship Bureau. We hope that our objective, mission and vision are achieved successfully.
